  3. HOPE- ONE MINUTE

the gold armor glistened under the grueling hot sun. His flesh on fire, the young warrior emerged from the rugged shadows and prepared himself for the arena. He thought like a wild animal- instincts responded first, logic a far second, and emotion barely existing.

  4. A massive mass of metal and muscle, mangling his enemies in a manner most malodorous. Wreathed in the alternate adrenaline of audience appreciation, and acclimating to a harsh ambiance of arid, ashy sand. Cries of combat and cat-calls through callused lips, cries of convulsion and choler creating a cataclysmic climax from the crust of a cleaver.

  5. Gladiators are really scary they like to chop people's heads off with giant swords or axes. They're vicious and tear into the fear of many. Yeah, that's right don't mess with a freaking gladiator. I wonder if I could be a present day gladiator. We could have battles in armor and swords; whoever wins gets to be the awesome best gladiator forever.

  11. The spartan ran across the battlefield. Chopping peoples head's off, and killing the enemy. While he did this, he protected his side, and his honor. He screamed one thing, and one thing only in this glorious battle. "THIS! IS! SPARTA!!!"
